Most Arabic conversations happen fast, at normal pace, without warning. Captio AI captions every word as it's spoken, so you can follow without asking anyone to repeat themselves.
🤟Communicating with Deaf & HoHHearing people often don't know how to adapt when talking with deaf or hard of hearing Arabic speakers. Captio AI turns their speech into real-time captions, so the conversation can happen naturally on both sides.
💼MeetingsIn Arabic meetings, decisions happen fast and people talk over each other. Captio AI captions every speaker as they talk, so you never miss a decision or a question directed at you.
🎓LecturesArabic lecturers speak quickly, cover complex material, and rarely repeat themselves. Captio AI gives you a live transcript of everything said, so you can follow the content instead of straining to hear it.
🏥Doctor AppointmentsDoctors speak quickly in Arabic and use clinical language that's easy to mishear. Captio AI shows you everything they say in real time, so you can follow your diagnosis and ask the right questions.
🤝Job InterviewsMissing a question in a Arabic interview means answering wrong or asking for a repeat. Captio AI shows you every word the interviewer says, so you can focus entirely on your answer.
📱Phone & Video CallsArabic phone and video calls are harder to follow than in-person conversations. No lip reading, often poor audio quality. Captio AI captions whoever is speaking in real time, so you do not need to ask for repeats.
👥Group SettingsIn Arabic group conversations, multiple people talk at once and the thread moves fast. Captio AI keeps up with whoever is speaking, so you can follow without losing where the conversation is going.
🍽️Restaurants & CafesBackground noise in Arabic-speaking restaurants and cafes makes speech hard to follow. Captio AI focuses on whoever is speaking to you, so you can have a real conversation through the noise.
✈️TravelingIn Arabic-speaking cities, airports, and hotels there is no margin for mishearing. Captio AI captions speech in real time, so you can navigate confidently wherever you go.
🎤Conferences & EventsAt Arabic conferences, speakers are far away, acoustics are unpredictable, and you cannot ask for a repeat. Captio AI gives you a live transcript of every speaker, so you can follow the full event from any seat.
📺TV & MediaBuilt-in subtitles on Arabic TV, films, and videos are often wrong, delayed, or missing. Captio AI captions whatever is playing in real time, so you are not dependent on what the content provides.

Fusha / Modern Standard Arabic
The formal written and broadcast standard used across all Arabic-speaking countries. Used in news, official speech, and formal education. Captio AI handles MSA with full accuracy.
Egyptian Arabic dialect
The most widely understood Arabic dialect globally due to Egypt's cultural influence. Spoken by ~100 million people — the de facto common dialect of the Arab world. Captio AI handles Egyptian Arabic accurately.
Levantine dialect
Spoken in Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, and Palestine. Known for its soft pronunciation and relatively clear intelligibility. Captio AI handles Levantine Arabic accurately.
Gulf dialect
Spoken in Saudi Arabia, UAE, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, and Oman. Distinct pronunciation and vocabulary from other Arabic varieties. Captio AI handles Gulf Arabic across its regional sub-varieties.
Mesopotamian dialect
Spoken in Iraq — bridging features between Gulf and Levantine dialects. Around 40 million speakers. Has distinct phonetic and grammatical features. Captio AI handles Iraqi Arabic accurately.
Maghrebi dialect
Spoken in Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, and Libya. Heavily influenced by Berber, French, and Spanish — the most distinct Arabic variety. Moroccan Darija has limited mutual intelligibility with eastern dialects.

Gone the moment it ends
Captio AI processes your Arabic audio in real time and discards it immediately. Nothing is recorded. Nothing is kept.
Not a product
Your conversations are not something Captio AI sells, shares, or monetizes — to anyone, for any reason.
Not used to train anything
What you say in a Arabic doctor's appointment or job interview never ends up in a training dataset. Not ours. Not anyone else's.
Hearing accessibility for Arabic speakers
Arabic is the official language of 22 countries, but there is no single Arabic sign language that connects them. Each country has developed its own: Egyptian Sign Language, Saudi Sign Language, Levantine Sign Language, Moroccan Sign Language, and more. Deaf communities across the Arab world often cannot sign with each other across borders.
Since 1999, the League of Arab States has been developing a Unified Arabic Sign Language (UASL), with workshops producing thousands of standardized signs. Deaf communities across the region have largely resisted it. Many deaf Arabs report that they cannot understand the compiled vocabulary, and that the project threatens to displace the natural sign languages their communities developed organically. The unification effort remains deeply contested.
For hard of hearing Arabic speakers, formal settings are where the accessibility gap is felt most directly. Medical consultations in Arabic-speaking countries rarely include sign language interpretation. Arabic diglossia adds an extra layer of difficulty: the Modern Standard Arabic used in hospitals and government offices is significantly different from the spoken dialect most people use at home, making it harder for hard of hearing people to follow official contexts even with partial hearing.
