Designed for the real moments that matter — not just quiet controlled environments.
Most Korean conversations happen fast, at normal pace, without warning. Captio AI captions every word as it's spoken, so you can follow without asking anyone to repeat themselves.
🤟Communicating with Deaf & HoHHearing people often don't know how to adapt when talking with deaf or hard of hearing Korean speakers. Captio AI turns their speech into real-time captions, so the conversation can happen naturally on both sides.
💼MeetingsIn Korean meetings, decisions happen fast and people talk over each other. Captio AI captions every speaker as they talk, so you never miss a decision or a question directed at you.
🎓LecturesKorean lecturers speak quickly, cover complex material, and rarely repeat themselves. Captio AI gives you a live transcript of everything said, so you can follow the content instead of straining to hear it.
🏥Doctor AppointmentsDoctors speak quickly in Korean and use clinical language that's easy to mishear. Captio AI shows you everything they say in real time, so you can follow your diagnosis and ask the right questions.
🤝Job InterviewsMissing a question in a Korean interview means answering wrong or asking for a repeat. Captio AI shows you every word the interviewer says, so you can focus entirely on your answer.
📱Phone & Video CallsKorean phone and video calls are harder to follow than in-person conversations. No lip reading, often poor audio quality. Captio AI captions whoever is speaking in real time, so you do not need to ask for repeats.
👥Group SettingsIn Korean group conversations, multiple people talk at once and the thread moves fast. Captio AI keeps up with whoever is speaking, so you can follow without losing where the conversation is going.
🍽️Restaurants & CafesBackground noise in Korean-speaking restaurants and cafes makes speech hard to follow. Captio AI focuses on whoever is speaking to you, so you can have a real conversation through the noise.
✈️TravelingIn Korean-speaking cities, airports, and hotels there is no margin for mishearing. Captio AI captions speech in real time, so you can navigate confidently wherever you go.
🎤Conferences & EventsAt Korean conferences, speakers are far away, acoustics are unpredictable, and you cannot ask for a repeat. Captio AI gives you a live transcript of every speaker, so you can follow the full event from any seat.
📺TV & MediaBuilt-in subtitles on Korean TV, films, and videos are often wrong, delayed, or missing. Captio AI captions whatever is playing in real time, so you are not dependent on what the content provides.

Supports Standard Korean (Seoul dialect) and major regional varieties.
Seoul dialect
Standard Korean (표준어) — based on the Seoul variety and used in national broadcasting, education, and formal communication across South Korea. Captio AI handles Seoul dialect with full accuracy, displaying captions in native Hangul script.
Gyeongsang dialect
경상도 사투리 — spoken in Busan, Daegu, and across the North and South Gyeongsang provinces by around 13 million people. Has a distinct pitch-accent system unlike any other South Korean dialect — one of the most recognizable regional varieties. Captio AI handles Gyeongsang dialect accurately in conversational speech.
Jeolla dialect
전라도 사투리 — spoken in Gwangju and across the Jeolla provinces in South-West Korea. Has distinct intonation and vocabulary from the Seoul standard. One of the four major South Korean dialect groups. Captio AI handles Jeolla dialect accurately.
Chungcheong dialect
충청도 사투리 — spoken in Daejeon and across North and South Chungcheong provinces. Considered one of the most gentle-sounding Korean dialects, with a slower speech rhythm and distinct intonation from Seoul Korean. Captio AI handles Chungcheong dialect accurately.
Jeju dialect
제주 방언 — spoken on Jeju Island. So distinct from mainland Korean that UNESCO has classified it as a critically endangered language. Captio AI handles Standard Korean most reliably; Jeju dialect speech may have significantly reduced accuracy due to its linguistic distance from the Seoul standard.
Captio AI supports 60+ languages

Gone the moment it ends
Captio AI processes your Korean audio in real time and discards it immediately. Nothing is recorded. Nothing is kept.
Not a product
Your conversations are not something Captio AI sells, shares, or monetizes — to anyone, for any reason.
Not used to train anything
What you say in a Korean doctor's appointment or job interview never ends up in a training dataset. Not ours. Not anyone else's.
Hearing accessibility for Korean speakers
South Korea's deaf community uses Korean Sign Language (한국수어, KSL). The Korean Sign Language Act came into effect in 2016, making KSL an official language with equal status to spoken Korean. Since 2020, major TV networks including KBS, MBC, and SBS have included KSL interpretation on prime-time news broadcasts.
KSL and the sign language used in North Korea are distinct and not mutually intelligible. South Korea has around 300,000 deaf people, and KSL serves as both a communication tool and a marker of deaf cultural identity. The 2016 law has driven real improvements in public accessibility, though gaps remain in healthcare and workplace settings.
Korean workplaces and formal settings move at a fast pace, with a hierarchical communication culture that means meetings tend to be structured but information-dense. For hard of hearing Korean speakers, following a team meeting or a doctor's consultation without support remains a common challenge. Captio AI captions spoken Korean in real time for these situations.
